Landrace

India & Nepal

Charas cultivars, Himalayan landrace

Climate

Himalayan foothills. Heavy monsoon. Cool nights.

Plant morphology

Tall, broad-leaf hash plants. 14 to 18 week flower. Traditionally hand-rolled for charas hash.

The charas-producing cultivars of the Indian and Nepalese Himalayas are the closest sativa cousins to Afghani indica. Tall, broad-leafed, and selected for centuries for resin yield rather than flower yield.

Preservation status

Not stocked. These lines are usually traded informally; verified seed stock is rare.
