Terpene Profile

Hashy.

pressed hash · old leather · sandalwood

Hashy is the Afghani signature. Heavy, oily, meditative, slightly sweet. It is what charas smells like before it is pressed. Hindu Kush, Mazar I Sharif, and most of the Pakistani / northern Afghani landrace lines express it as the dominant note.

The vocabulary

Pressed hash

The note you smell from a real Afghani hash brick before crumbling. Heavy, oily.

Old leather

The dry-warm side of hashy. Mazar expresses this.

Sandalwood

Meditative, dry-spicy, temple-adjacent.

How hashy got here

Hashy survived intact through the Dutch seed era because every Afghani-leaning indica carries it. If you crack a Master Kush, a Hindu Kush, or a Bubba Kush from our vault, this is the dominant adjective.
